My favorite place for sushi, and i have eaten at many different sushi restaurants world wide. Vizen is my absolute FAVORITE! Yes, it’s that good! With friendly owners and staff, authenticity, and exceptionally fresh/quality fish… sushi doesn’t get much better than this! I highly recommend trying the daily specials listed on the chalk board and from the menu my favorites include the uni, eel, and special jewel roll. YUM! 

 

Bangkok- 4791 Swift Rd. – Central Sarasota – (941) 922 0703

Authentic Thai food it’s all delicious. My favorites include: crispy spring rolls, satay, kenom jeeb (dumplings), pad thai, red curry, bangkok cashew nut, fried rice, and thai custard.

The Rustic Grill- 400 N Lemon Ave. – Downtown Sarasota – (941) 906 1111

While the menu changes from time to time, everything is delicious. I  recommend the melon martinis, artisan cheese platter, grilled tuna entree, and chocolate desert.

The Ritz Carlton- Offering first class service, the Rtiz Carlton Sarasota is a luxurious hotel worth the money. Its grounds are beautiful and the amenities are abundant. I highly recommend the club level rooms.

Hotel Indigo- A newly built hotel in downtown Sarasota, Hotel Indigo opened in December of 2006. The rooms are new, spacious, and nicely decorated. For an additional fee your pet can stay too.

Hotel Ranola- A boutique hotel in downtown Sarasota, Hotel Ranola offers comfortable modern rooms at a decent rate. The staff/owners are welcoming and accommodating. I recommend the Royale Suites.

Hyatt Sarasota- A landmark Sarasota hotel, the Hyatt has recently renovated its guest rooms. It offers many amenities and a beautiful downtown bay front location.

Lido Beach Resort- Located within walking distance to St. Armands Circle and in close proximity to downtown Sarasota the best thing about Lido Beach Resort is that it’s directly on the beach.

Holiday Inn Express- (6600 S Tamiami Trail) Very near to Siesta Key, this Holiday Inn has comfortable rooms and great rates. It’s also within walking distance to the Gulf Gate entertainment area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars.
